Study environment factors associated with retention in higher education

چکیده

There is a substantial body of research concerned with student retention in higher education. However, regard to factors related study environment, existing described as incomplete. Based on Tinto’s institutional departure model and literature review recent international articles dropout education, this article suggests revised for understanding processes. The envisages environment concept consisting overlapping domains social system, an academic teaching. distinguishes between each these three systems discusses how they can be used understand prevent dropouts.
